Gord Rosewarne
Gord doesn't remember a time when he wasn't sketching and throughout his life has dabbled rather successfully in stained glass and woodworking. In retrospect, he's always been an artist. However having worked as an electrical designer, Gord didn't have time to fully explore his interests until he retired, when he finally turned to painting. Thankfully, his current lifestyle lends itself well to developing his skills.
Gord finds wildlife and the human figure the most interesting of subjects.
Painting with acrylics allows him to find a depth of colour in a variety of mediums. He is self-taught but always seeks a community of artists; he has been influenced by his peers in both Muskoka and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
