I am a professional landscape artist living in Niagara-on-the- Lake and I find constant inspiration from our local scenery particularly our vineyards, farms, creeks, rivers and lakes.
“I usually start with thumbnail sketches of a scene to select a pleasing composition
and then do a small acrylic painting on watercolour paper, sometimes en plein air but I also take multiple photos and from there I will then do a larger acrylic painting on canvas usually in my studio but occasionally also en plein air.”
