Julie is a Niagara-based artist who creates contemporary abstract landscape paintings.

Her paintings are intuitively textured and created in layers that are inspired by the colours, shapes and movements in nature. Much of her inspiration comes from her travels to the west coast of Scotland, where the wildness and beauty of the landscape cannot be beat.

Through her art, she wants to encourage people to get outside, witness the remarkable beauty of our planet, appreciate the environment and endeavour to protect it by taking action.
