Niagara-based artist, Irene MacKenzie was born and raised in Fort Frances Ontario. After teaching public school for twelve years she began studying with art teachers around the world including Australia, Canada and the U.S. She began pursuing her art career full-time. Her creativity and versatility combined to produce captivating images. Irene is constantly inspired by the unlimited source of beauty of the Niagara Region. She appreciates that her paintings are enjoyed not only locally but in many countries around the world!
